Your information

Privacy policy

A clear account of the information Little Love handles and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Who operates the service

Little Love is a private one-to-one voice-message app for two connected people. References to “Little Love,” “we,” “us,” and “our” in this policy mean the operator of the Little Love service at sendlittlelove.app. For privacy questions, contact privacy@sendlittlelove.app. For general support, contact support@sendlittlelove.app.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Little Love, we handle:

  • Your email address, display name, and authentication or user identifiers.
  • Your one-to-one connection and pairing information.
  • Voice recordings and related metadata, including selected supportive categories.
  • Scheduled-message information.
  • Notification preferences, push device tokens, and device platform.
  • Limited notification job and error information.
  • Operational logs created by our service providers.
  • Account-deletion or support request information when you contact us outside the app.

Your theme preference is stored locally on your device. A recording may also exist temporarily on your device before it is uploaded.

3. How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts; connect paired users; store, organize, deliver, schedule, and play voice messages; apply privacy and access rules; provide optional notifications; maintain the service; investigate errors and abuse; respond to support or deletion requests; and meet applicable legal or security requirements.

4. Notifications

Push notifications are optional. If enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token and platform information to deliver them. Some notifications may show a display name and message category on the device lock screen, depending on your preferences and device settings. Category-activity notifications are sent only when the relevant opt-in preferences are enabled.

You can adjust notification permissions in your device settings and available notification preferences in Little Love.

5. Service providers

Little Love uses:

  • Supabase for authentication, database services, private file storage, remote procedure calls (RPCs), Edge Functions, and operational infrastructure.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications.

These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services and maintain security and reliability.

6. Data sharing

Information is shared with the other person in your one-to-one connection as necessary for the app’s core features, and with the service providers described above as necessary to operate Little Love. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a legitimate transfer of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Little Love does not contain advertising SDKs and does not sell user data.

7. Retention

We retain information while it is needed to provide and maintain Little Love, respond to requests, protect the service, and meet legal requirements. A specific retention period has not yet been fixed for each category of information. We will review and define periods as the service develops, taking account of operational and legal needs.

Deleting content or an account removes it from active service systems as part of the deletion process. Provider backups, security logs, and operational records may remain for limited periods according to provider practices and legal requirements.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Voice recordings are stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Access is limited by authenticated membership in the one-to-one connection and by database and storage rules. We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, but no online service or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Little Love is not described as end-to-end encrypted. Please consider what you record and what may appear in notifications on a locked device.

9. User controls

Within Little Love, you can manage or delete your own recordings, control available notification preferences, unpair, and delete your account. Device settings also let you manage microphone and notification permissions. Some actions affect information shared within the one-to-one connection.

10. Account deletion

You can request deletion in the app through Settings > Delete Account, or initiate it without the app through our account-deletion page. We must verify your identity through the account email before deletion.

Deleting an account can remove the authentication account, profile, notification settings and devices, one-to-one connection record, shared recordings and metadata, and scheduled messages. Because content is shared between the two connected accounts, deletion can end the connection for both accounts and remove recordings available to the other connected person. Deletion is not necessarily immediate, and limited backup, security, or operational records may remain temporarily where required.

11. Children’s privacy

Little Love is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact privacy@sendlittlelove.app so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. International processing

Our providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. Privacy and data-protection rules may differ between countries. We rely on our providers’ infrastructure and safeguards when information is processed internationally.

13. Policy changes

We may update this policy as Little Love changes or legal and operational requirements develop. We will publish the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
